Our tulip bulbs are the best and biggest we can find, from tried and trusted growers. Don't forget that tulips like to be planted late in October and November with the colder weather, and need a little watering if planted in pots.

This is a glorious collection of tulips.I use them a annuals in tubs that line a seating area. They deliver strong large trumpet flowers in brilliant pinks and whites, that delight all that see them. This is my second year using this collection and I will be buying them again this autumn.

Healthy bulbs and fabulous blooms

This tulip collection was stunning. They looked more beautiful than I could've imagined. I was surprised by the height - apart from 'Angelique', they were all really tall (taller than stated). The weather was awful for a few weeks but even through the gale force winds, they remained upright and in one piece. I'll definitely be buying more of the same this autumn. I planted some of these in a pot but they didn't do as well compared to the wonderful display from those planted in the ground.

I have always had great success with the Venetian Mix, but wanted a change this year, so tried the pale mix. Sadly, the tulips are lovely but have not flowered together at all, some are nearly finished whilst others are still in bud - all planted at same time and depth. Back to the Venetians next year!

Reply from the Sarah Raven Team:

"Thank you Diana for your review. Our collections are chosen to give a long display, with the colours blending together as one ends and another starts, rather than them all flowering simultaneously or for a shorter length of time. The weather can also effect flowering times. We are so glad you enjoyed the varieties in this collection though!"
