Sow February-April, two seeds 1cm deep into a pot/module of compost. Remove weaker seedling if both grow. Plant out June-July when seedlings are 15cm high. Or sow into prepared seed bed late March-mid April.

Flower Sprouts, or Kalettes, have been bred from crossing kale and Brussels sprouts. They are dense with minerals and nutrients including powerful antioxidants. Tasty and so good for us. This provides brilliant structure to the veg garden in the winter.

Care Tips

Grows best on soil which has been manured the previous autumn. Protect against cabbage white butterflies with fine netting. Firm the soil well around plant base to prevent wind rock and provide stakes to support tall plants in autumn.
