More Details

If you can get your hands on some hazel or silver birch pea sticks, or some coppiced willow, you can create some beautiful and architectural frames. Woven into temporary garden baskets – tall and short – these all do the supporting jobs well and look wonderful. All the early flowerers such as peonies, hardy geraniums, Oriental poppies, lupins and delphiniums will look magnificent in summer if you stake them in this way, and while you’re at it, stake later-flowering things such as heleniums, phlox and cardoons. We now use similar frames in our veg and cutting gardens and Josie (our head gardener) and her team will show you how to make our full range.
