The Cutting Garden, 25 years on with Sarah Raven at Perch Hill, East Sussex reviews
Reviewed 28th October 2019 by K J Meakin The Grow Your Own Cutting Garden course was well organised, motivating, fun and informative. Comprehensive notes were provided and explained in detail by Sarah Raven with helpful examples and demonstrations. The walk around the cutting garden at Perch Hill in the company of the head gardener and deputy head gardener was equally delightful, including time in the poly tunnel discussing propagation. All questions were answered thoroughly and enthusiastically throughout the day. The other students were very friendly and as keen to learn as I was. And lunch in a beautiful converted barn was delicious! Many thanks to everyone, I learnt a lot an went away far more confident that I can crate what I want in my garden. |
