Cosmos 'Antiquity' is a very beautiful variety of cosmos, with flowers that open the darkest, most luscious crimson and then fade a little to look antiqued. Unusual and lovely.

The brilliant thing about this one is, with shorter stems, it doesn't need staking, and is perfect for pots.

Cosmos last 10 days in the vase, produce at least two buckets of cut flowers a week from a 1 x 1m patch and do so from late June until November – so that's nearly fifty buckets of flowers in one season from a small patch. They are impossible to beat.

Don't think a single plant has survived. But think that's probably more my fault than the Cosmos seeds. Going to try again next year.
All the other plants and produce I have bought from Sarah has been perfect and also very well packaged.
Thank you

No No No. I'm sorry but this cosmos I didn't like at all. The plants were healthy and plenty of flowers but the colour was awful. I'd chosen them for their pinky redness as in your picture but they all turned into a muddy brown colour. Not Sarah Raven true to colour advertised at all. I wouldn't grown them again.

Very poor germination. Maybe something I did? But planted in usual way in seed tray

Cosmos Antiquity

Grew these from seed. They grew well and I put them in pots with Orlaya which I also grew from seed. The Orlaya are lovely but the Antiquity are not my favourite Cosmos as they have a very faded look about them. Would not grow again.

Cosmos Antiquity and Nicotiana lime green

The seedlings arrived in very good order and I potted them on immediately. Notice of arrival was given. The nicotiana are growing on strongly but the cosmos are not moving much, in fact despite protection , three have suffered with the frost, and I have lost them. Looking forward to seeing the combination when they are planted out.
