A brand new variety much like my top favourite Allium schubertii, but in a deeper, richer purple (made by crossing schubertii with atropurpureum).

Spacing Plant 15cm (6in) deep, 20cm (8in) apart.
Care Tips Remember these are very perennial so plant them somewhere permanent. Removing the tatty foliage doesn't appear to affect the bulbs. Add grit on heavy soils.
Flowering June - July
Vase Life Add a drop of bleach to the water to minimise the oniony smell or change the water regularly. They will look good for up to 2 weeks without rearranging.

These bulbs are amazing, bought because I wanted a bee friendly bed, they have been a magnet for bees. Look amazing, only think is that they fell over a bit. It could be because I have not planted deep enough.

wonderful plant, flowering already from last week april!!!!!!, and still an eyecatcher. 15 bulbs fill a square meter. Good to read they are very perenial.
