Wild Marjoram is edible, with a delicious scent, flowering through summer into early autumn, and wonderful for picking, providing long-lasting scented foliage.
The pretty, airy, pale mauve flowers contrast with the deeper red-purple buds, creating a bi-colour haze.
These can be introduced to your flowerbeds and borders, as well as planting amongst your grass to create a wild flower meadow.
