Asparagus Pea is a lovely looking plant which will be buzzing with insects all the way through the summer. Hoverflies and worker bees seem to particularly love it and the small, winged pods are good to eat. It's beautiful too, with rich crimson pea-like flowers and dug into the soil, will improve its structure and fertility.

| Final Planting Distance: | 30cm. Prefers a sunny, well-drained site. |
| Harvesting: | Flowers from early summer on for 3-4 months. After the flowers come winged pods which are tasty when eaten small - about 3cm long. |
