Amaranthus caudatus 'Viridis' is a fantastic summer upper storey foliage, with chenille tassels in bright green. It's wonderful in flower arrangements or in a large vase on its own.

Sowing: Sow under cover in Mar/April or direct in May. Harden off and plant out after last frosts. Final Thinning/Planting Distance: 40-45cm Flowers: 12 weeks from sowing. Flower production: 3 months Vase life: 7-10 days. Will dry. Hang them upside down with a rubber band. Conditioning: remove most of the leaves.
