true of Cabbage ‘Hispi’, which has a
fantastic crunchy texture and
incredible flavour when very
quickly sautéed or boiled.

Sowing: Sow April-June. Sow seeds under cover into individual seed modules. Sow two seeds into each module. After germination, thin out the weakest one. Grow on until the roots fill the module (about 5 weeks) and plant them out. Easy germination. Cabbages need a rich, moisture-retentive soil, so dig in lots of organic material. Net them to protect them from birds and caterpillars. Final Planting Distance: Plant out in July 50cm apart Harvesting: October-April
