Limnanthes douglasii is a pretty plant with flowers that look like a poached egg, it is one of the best beneficial insect attractants that you can grow (hoverflies love it) and it couldn't be easier to introduce into your garden.
Direct sow this in mid spring. It will flower in late spring and early summer and then self-sow for every year after that.
