Now of all moments, is the time to grow your own. Even if you only have a tiny garden, you can still produce wonderful things. Try using containers for your salad, veg and herb seeds to save space.

To grow your own flowers, sow annuals into your beds, make your own cutting garden, or revitalise unused or over-grown areas with our wonderful meadow seed mixes. Transform whatever space you have into a haven and oasis for butterflies, bees and other pollinating insects, whilst also creating food and flowers for your table.

Key:

- If you are a beginner, look out for the varieties that have Easy for beginners in the description - we promise these ones really are.

- Also look out for my favourites, tagged with the 'Sarah loves' image - these are easy and reliable. I know that they will flower or crop for ages, with grace and elegance, or are fantastically showy or tasty.

- We recognise those seeds that have been awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit, please look for this in the description.

- The seeds that are great for providing nectar and/or pollen for pollinating insects are marked with the RHS Perfect for Pollinators logo, or are mentioned in the description - please also see our full A-Z list of pollinator friendly seeds.
