Product Description
Narcissi 'Actaea' is one month earlier to flower than the classic pheasant’s eye narcissi – highly-scented and excellent in a border or grass.
| Genus: | Narcissus |
| Variety | Actaea |
| Group: | Poeticus |
| Type: | Deciduous |
| Soil Type: | Any soil | Site: | Sun or partial shade | Height: | 40cm | Spacing: | Plant pointy end up, four to six inches deep with three to four inches between each bulb. | Hardiness: | Hardy | Care tips: | Plant anytime from August to November. They are very tolerant bulbs | Flowers: | April | For the vase: | Narcissi make great cut flowers lasting up to a week in the vase. I love them jumbled up in large jugs on the table. Be careful mixing with other flower types as their stems give off a compound that is toxic to other flowers and soak their stems in warm water before displaying to stop the 'goo' from running out. |
