Product Description
Papaver somniferum 'Black Beauty' is an incredibly glamorous poppy with sumptuous double black peopny flowers, lovely silvery leaves and the best architectural seed pods I grow.
Opium poppies are a wonderful garden flower which pops up of its own volition, from one year to the next. You can pick it – when its in full bloom – to fill a bowl for a dinner, but it won’t last longer than 24 hours even if you sear it. The seedpods are also fantastic for arranging and we use them fresh, dried and sprayed.
