Product Description
Lettuce 'Green Oak Leaf' is still the best ever No. 1 cut-and-come again lettuce. Keep picking and it keeps producing tender, new apple-green leaves.
Sow your oak leaf lettuce almost all year round by serial sowing.
- EASY
| Sowing: | Direct sow in small batches every 2-3 weeks from February-Early September in lines, or blocks, straight into the ground or into gutterpipes. The plants need plenty of water, but not too much sun. A cool, northern bed, kept moist is ideal. Hot weather inhibits germination. Water the drill before sowing to decrease temperatures and sow in the evening. |
| Thinning Distance: | 20-25cm |
| Harvesting: | 6-8 weeks from sowing, producing leaves for about 3 months. Successional sowing should provide leaves nearly all year. |
