These are the Hyacinth 'L'innocence' bulbs for forcing indoors. Hyacinth 'L'innocence' is a lovely white for fantastic scent inside.
Indoor hyacinths are treated differently to the garden bulbs . They are harvested earlier and then get a preparation of six to eight weeks at different temperatures. If they are then planted in mid September and stored in a cool place (about 10ºC) for nine weeks, until the end of November, you can force them into flower in 3 weeks for Christmas. Plant them out in the garden after flowering inside.
