Product Description
This is a late summer sowing variety of Florence fennel which forms the largest, most succulent bulbs. Yet it remains tasty, tender and sweet. Braise it or eat it with grapes, raw in salad (see p310 Garden Cookbook). Out of the many varieties I've tried, this one reigns supreme always bulbing up well in my garden, but the secret with this and any Florence fennel is not to sow too early.
