Canna 'Durban' has extraordinary leaves with stripes in deep

Cannas became so fêted by the architectural plant brigade about ten years ago, it almost put me off, but cannas are the perfect foliage plant to combine with dahlias and colourful annuals – zinnias, tithonia and amaranthus. With their bold leaves and spear-like vertical flowers, they can really hold their own in any bold and brilliant garden. I now love them.
