About the CourseOver the last 20 years at Perch Hill, I have been trialling and testing a huge range of plants, vegetables, perennials, shrubs, bulbs and annuals and for every one I have carefully evaluated what does best, what is easiest to grow and what likes different soil and situation and this course is designed to give you the benefit of those two decades of experimentation.
Starting with the large plants- the shrubs and trees- to create the structure of the garden, down through the very best climbers, perennials, the outstanding bulbs and the temporary filler annuals and biennials, Sarah will show you her very favourite plants and how to combine and grow them.
The day lasts from 10.30 till 3.30 including tea/coffee on arrival, morning tea/coffee with homemade biscuits and a delicious 2 course lunch using fresh produce from the garden at Perch Hill.
