Sarah will guide you through the principles of how to pick and condition your flowers to make them last twice as long in a vase and show you the essential bits of kit to use for simple flower arrangements at home.
Flower arranging demonstration with Sarah showing you lots of simple, stylish and beautiful ideas for scattering flowers through your house for everyday and when you want to push the boat out a little more.
Sarah will end this session by giving you her tried and tested recipe for making a fantastic, armful-of-the-garden hand tied bunch.
Picking and arranging your own hand tied bunch according to Sarah’s recipe with Sarah and her two assistants standing by to guide and help with what to pick and how to arrange.

In the morning you’ll have demonstrations by Sarah and the afternoon is hands-on with everyone learning how to pick, condition and arrange their own large hand tied bunch to take home.
The day lasts from 10.30 till 3,30 including tea/coffee on arrival, morning tea/coffee break with homemade biscuits and a delicious 2 course lunch using fresh produce from the garden at Perch Hill.
