We are currently hiring for the following position:

merchandise administrator

An exciting opportunity to join an online gardening business, which offers carefully tried and tested plants, seeds, bulbs and gardening kit as well as lovely things for your home, all personally selected by Sarah Raven, the well-known author and broadcaster. 


ROLE OVERVIEW 


This role is fully remote. The successful applicant will be highly motivated, numerate, and have good communication skills and excellent attention to detail, plus good knowledge of Excel. The role represents an opportunity to develop your career in a busy buying and merchandising department.  


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Effectively manage inventory, whilst driving sales through improved availability and forecasting product set up and maintenance, pushing for complete accuracy 
  • Retail purchase order management 
  • Produce detailed analysis on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and end of season basis, providing insights into performance and key drivers 
  • Regular supplier communication 
  • Support the Senior Merchandiser with ad hoc analysis when requested 


SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced knowledge of Excel 
  • Strong commercial, qualitative and with excellent communication skills 
  • Must be organised, methodical, and efficient with excellent timekeeping skills to meet deadlines
  • Able to build and maintain productive relationships cross functionally 
  • Is proactive and adaptable 
  • Has experience of ERP would be an advantage
