How to I get rid of Convolvulus (bindweed)? It is running riot in my flower bed and raspberry patch?

It is a bit of a nightmare, I would be careful about weedkiller on the roots, might kill other things in the patch? I have succesfully used a paint on weedkiller on the leaves, bit of a faff  though!

Hi nick, I think you have to find the main plant and its roots and dig it all up - repeatedly until all the root bits are gone otherwise Its quite good at re- rooting or re-growing itself from bits left behind. Otherwise use weedkiller directly into roots a few times which is probably less work and quicker!!
