Freesias have the best scent and last brilliantly in the vase. Try growing your own this year. As freesias are delicate exotics from the other side of the world, we tend to think they will be difficult to grow here, but that isn't the case if you buy our prepared freesia corms rather than 'garden varieties'. Our freesias are first class, top size, healthy corms that have been stored throughout the winter at the perfect humidity and temperature. This means that they will arrive ready for planting out in March in a greenhouse, or in April outside, once temperatures reach 5°c or above.
