Briza maxima is a beautiful grass with thin stems, hung with pale green flowers that look like rain drops as they catch the light.

It's brilliant for arrangements in a dark room or a church. The drops act like mirrors and reflect the light. This will self-sow.

Sowing, Seeds, Planting Sow direct April-May and/or late August-September. Sow undercover February-March.
Care Tips This will self sow. This is a cut-and-come-again variety.
Flowering 10-12 weeks from spring sowing.
Vase Life Flowers will produce for 2-3 months. Cut flower will last 10-14 days in the vase. Will dry.

Really pretty grass but make sure you have plenty of room as they self sow PROLIFICALLY and thickly. 3 or 4 seedlings have now covered an area about 2m sqr!
